This allowed me to increase my batch size to 10gallons which requires about a 12 gal liquid level during the boil. A couple drops of Fermacap prevents boil over and I think this pot cost less than the 10gal pot I bought elsewhere. The gauge of the pot is on the lower end but I think that may be a positive. It is relatively light and less thermal mass means faster heating times. It seems sturdy enough that even when I am transporting it with 12 gals of liquid it doesn't feel like it is going to break.
