Moving the oil from my turkey frier back into the containers was a messy operation, at best. This pump makes it much easier to do without spilling. The pump works quickly.UPDATE: After using the pump many times, I'm still very happy with it. I never want to go back to pouring oil again. Storage: I wondered if it would be hard to store the pump, but actually, I keep it in the closet! It doesn't stay messy or drip oil for days like you would expect. Just follow the washing instructions and it ends up being clean enough to bring back into the house.
